Healthy Aquatics Marine Institute of Florida is a 3,600 square foot station in Boynton Beach, Florida.The facility is zoned for aquaculture and uses lab, veterinary facilities , and classroom space for education and research. Visitors are given an introduction to our facility through our museum and classroom before heading out into the coral and fish production, boarding, research, and quarantine areas for activities and demonstrations.
HAMI also has satelite locations on Marathon Key, in the Florida Keys and in the Bahamas on Andros island. The keys outpost serves as staging areas for collecting classes and marine fish collection using our marine life diver permits and special activities licenses for retail and education. The Bahamaian base along with collecting and research rights granted by the Bahamian government serves as a logistical site for our educational and research activities overseas.
